We hear about it and see it on TV talk shows like Oprah, Dr. Phil, Ellen, and of course The Jerry Springer Show. We just hope it will never happen to us. Cheating is awful in a relationship. It is devastating and usually leaves permanent emotional scars if it doesn’t end the relationship. Unfortunately most partners don’t know about the cheating until they are told about it by a caring friend or relative. Here are some definite signs that by themselves may not be indicative of cheating, but together should send off a big warning signal that something is going on. Recognizing this cheating early on can save oneself from much heartache and trouble that will grow the longer it persists.
A sudden increase in late night work outside the home and travel could indicate your partner is cheating. It may just be innocent and maybe they have a new boss, demanding new clients, or a new demanding project, but they may also have a sexy new secretary that they are suddenly paying a lot of attention to. Communication is the key here, if you have any doubts call them. You won't know if you don't communicate with them. Here's a great tip, if you are feeling doubts tell your partner. If they aren't cheating they have nothing to be worried about and they won't get defensive or mad. If you can’t reach them, they make lots of excuses or they won’t take your calls then a flag should go up. Midnight or midday rendezvous are not inducive to a good relationship and they cannot hide it forever. No one is perfect, even international spies make mistakes. Check their clothes and travel items. Is there an unfamiliar perfume? Something that doesn't belong? Receipts for possibly romantic dinners, hotels, lavish or romantic gifts, etc… (gifts are a huge indicator of cheating).
A sudden decrease in sex drive could mean they are getting it elsewhere. A temporary reduction in sex drive could just be related to increased stress or job duties. It could also indicate medical problems that should be referred to a doctor. Like prostate or urinary trouble. But, a sudden decrease in sex drive equipped with sudden late night work at the office and unexplained receipts for romantic dinners definitely means something is not right and should be checked into.
A marked defensiveness and new irritability expressed towards you. This could be your lover trying to hide their cheating by them throwing it back at you. “Why would you even ask or think that? You should trust me like I do you. Maybe you are the one having an affair. Where were you last night?” A new unforeseen defensiveness in itself is a very strong indicator of cheating. This defensiveness is almost always present in cheating. Just watch Dr. Phil, he knows this and asks the potential cheater why they are so defensive. What do they have to be so defensive about if there isn't anything going on?
Also the opposite of this defensiveness could indicate some infidelity or cheating. Is your partner all of a sudden being extremely nice to you. Are they buying you romantic gifts, dinners, flowers, etc… for no apparent reason you can think of? Is this way out of the norm for them? They may be going through feelings of guilt after infidelity. They may feel guilty for what they have done and are trying to console their feelings in this way after the fact. As seen on Oprah, this is a high indicator that cheating or infidelity has occurred. 95% of partners that have cheated experience feelings of guilt and will be extra nice to their spouse after the infidelity has occurred.
There are other numerous indicators that can be indicative of infidelity or cheating. These may not in themself indicate cheating, but when grouped together, the more indicators that occur, the more likely some cheating or infidelity is going on somewhere or has in the past and your partner may still be trying to cover it up

Inexpensive Gifts

Is an expensive gift more valuable than an inexpensive one?
When you are considering a gift, what do you settle for—an expensive gift or something special that conveys a message? Does the price of the gift really matter? The thing to remember is that gifts are meant to convey a message that you care. They need not be expensive, but they need to be special. There’s nothing wrong with an expensive gift, but what is much more important is a demonstration of affection and care. As Shakespeare says in Hamlet, “Rich gifts wax poor when givers prove unkind.” An expensive gift can become “poor” and an inexpensive gift can become “rich” depending on the way you give it. So, it is the message that you convey rather than the value of the gift that matters more.
What happens to expensive gifts
Let’s look first at what happens when you present an expensive gift. In these days of affluence and consumerism, most people have almost all the things they need. Unless you are thinking of something like jewelry, there’s a good chance that the item you gift is already available to the person to whom you are giving it. In that case your item, if given, may not be used at all.
When you gift an expensive item, the focus is more on the item than on the act. In addition, if the expensive item that you give is not to the taste of the person receiving it, both of you are going to be disappointed. So whichever way you look at it, it’s not the price of the gift, but its utility to the person and the spirit in which it is given that are more important. That seems to clearly show that the value of the gift itself is secondary. A bunch of flowers, a kiss on the cheek or even a good word may bring more happiness to the person than an expensive gift.
A thoughtful gift can be richer than an expensive one
A gift that helps someone really needy and aids a charitable cause may often come with exotic handmade items that are made in far off places. That might be a comparatively inexpensive gift, but it does a lot of things, especially if the gift is intended for children. It shows the value of caring for others. And it adds a certain novelty to the exercise.

There are certain special occasions when the gift of something that is really needed, though perhaps expensive, can make a big change in the life of the person receiving it. First, make a Christmas list. Write down the names of those who you want to give presents to and how much you’ll be willing to spend for a particular person. It would also help to write down some ideas so you’d have an easier time once you’re shopping. Bear in mind that you don’t have to give all of your acquaintances presents. Neighbors and officemates that you are not close with don’t necessarily have to be given gifts unless you have the extra budget to give them simple tokens. Make sure you remember to write down all the important people in your list.
Second, make homemade gifts. Most people love receiving homemade gifts, especially those that they can really use. Try to find out what they like so you can give them something they would like. For example, if your mom loves to cook, you can give her a self-compiled cookbook with all her favorite recipes and you can even include yours too. It will save you from the hassle of standing for hours at a long line, arguing with someone over the last piece of an item that you both want and you won’t have to squeeze your way through hoards of people rushing to buy late Christmas gifts.

You Can't Go Wrong With Chocolate Candy Gifts
It seems like there are nearly endless occasions for gift giving in today's world. We give gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and a host of other holidays and celebrations. I can hardly make it through a week or two without having the need to get a gift for some kind of celebration or another. So I like to be prepared and have a few gifts on hand at all times. I've become convinced lately that chocolate candy makes a great gift for almost all occasions.
There are many reasons why a chocolate candy gift is a great choice for almost any gift. First of all, and most obvious, is that who doesn't love chocolate? I'm not sure that I know anyone who doesn't appreciate some good chocolate every once in a while. So who wouldn't appreciate some great chocolate candy for their birthday or to celebrate another special day or holiday? Anyone who loves chocolate will most certainly enjoy chocolate candy.
Another reason why giving chocolate candy is a great gift idea is because most people love eating candy. It is a great gift that may not last long, but it will most certainly be enjoyed while it still lasts. Who really needs another sweater or another book for a special occasion? It seems like everyone has enough of those. But who can really have enough chocolate candy? Exactly my point. No one. Everyone can appreciate something that they won't buy themselves.
