How to Plan the Perfect Spring Break Family Vacation

From time to time everyone needs some time away from their life. It does not matter if you are 10 years old and in 5th grade or 35 years old and working a full time job, to maintain good mental health you have to take the occasional vacation.

Some time around the beginning of April most public and private schools have Spring Break from School which is a great time to plan a vacation.

Most vacations when you have children become about them, and you wind up at places like Disney land or some other child orientated vacation spot, but what about you?

Las Vegas used to be known as an adult getaway where what happens there stays there. This is no longer the case. Over the past 15 years, Las Vegas realized that more money can be made from a family orientated city rater then just from gambling.

Many casinos started adding attractions for children like go carts and other amusements, and many other activities aimed at giving a child a good time, but the casinos also opened up day care centers, so parents can get some time to enjoy themselves as well.

I know when I would go to Disney World with my kids after the 2nd or 3rd day I was looking forward to getting back to work.

For the last several years we have been going to Las Vegas for our family Vacations over spring break and the kids enjoy it. They get to go on roller coasters, swim, play video games, watch movie the list really goes on and on for all the things they can do, and I get to spend a few hours ever day with my wife in the spa getting a message, eating in nice restaurants and playing some Blackjack in the casinos.

Since we started doing this I have seen my family grow closer. My wife noticed that I am in a better mood for the rest of the year after we get back from vacation. I am enjoying my job more and all in all life is just better.

Putting together a Los Vegas vacation is very simple to do. You can go to a travel agent, or do it yourself online. I have always preferred to go to a travel agent and just let them do it, but if you are trying to save money you can get some good deals online that a travel agent can't or won't offer you.

If you choose to do it yourself, it is easy to do. You can go to your computer and do a search for Las Vegas. You will see every casinos and hotel listed and you can go thru them one at a time and see what they offer for you and your family to do.

You will also see everything the city and surrounding areas have to offer, and there really are tons of fun things for everyone in Las Vegas.

I hope to see you and your family there.

Going The Extra Mile Benefits Everyone Including Yourself

In a world where mediocrity is becoming alarmingly common, it's a refreshing change to encounter people who are willing to go the extra mile.

If we are lucky we encounter such people on a daily basis. A checkout clerk who is particularly courteous, a co-worker who helps you do something not in their job description, or even a family member who does something to lighten your load.

Going beyond what others expect of you can never be a bad thing. It's a great principle to live by no matter who you are or what you do.

Your attitude is something that shines out beyond the boundaries of what you present to others. There's nothing that beats the feeling when someone surprises you by going the extra mile.

Nature encourages the habit of going the extra mile. If every animal/plant in the ecosystem had a lazy attitude the world would end. It's as if mother nature encourages working harder than is called for.

If every human on the planet adopted a philosophy of going the extra mile the world would undoubtedly be a better place.
Imagine a world were service is always courteous and delivered with a smile.

While it's possible to still earn a living without ever having to push the boundaries of what you will and will not do much in terms of helping you achieve your goals.

10 Reasons to go the extra mile:

1. Can foster a sense of direction in life
2. Develops a positive mental attitude
3. Encourages initiative
4. Creating a more pleasant environment for everyone
5. Gives job security
6. often there's extra compensation
7. Has a positive effect on all those around you – coworkers, clients etc.
8. Clear conscience
9. Can prevent procrastination
10. Going the extra mile can stimulate your soul.

That warm feeling you get inside when you go the extra mile for someone else is irreplaceable. There's no substitute for a heartfelt thanks and you can rest easy in the knowledge that you have made life just that little bit easier for those around you.

Why not try to incorporate this idea into your daily life. By setting a goal that you will go out of your way for someone else on a daily basis – you commit yourself to that warm fuzzy glow daily too!

Going the extra mile can make you stand out in a crowd. And of course it might just help you achieve that financial success you dream of.

Do You Look Friendly? Take These Quizzes

Most of us visit gardens. Many times, we see the gardener working. How many of compliment and stop by the Gardner to ask about his life? We visit museums. Do we bother to meet the Administrator and congratulate for the good work being done by him/her? We come across many people in our life such as milkman, sales persons etc., but we never try to connect with them as human beings. We are always in a hurry to finish whatever it is and move.

Does this attitude connect us with people? Does it make us happy? With little change in our approach, we can become very friendly persons and get happiness as a reward. Ask a cabbie driver about his/her life and you will wonder about the kinds of problems these persons face. Our own problems will begin looking small. But we are always occupied. We have no time.

If you have lot many problems and find life tough, try this. Enter cancer ward of your nearby hospital. Meet some patients and talk to them. It will give you a new insight about life and the struggles. Reach out to people and be friends with them. Share your life with them and listen to their stories. You will be amazed at life. We forget that our world does not consist of only our family, friends, our work place and ourselves. Our world has many more people. The only difference is that we can ignore them. But that does not make us better human beings. We become better by connecting with people who have no work with us. That kind of relationship is totally selfless, pure and beautiful.

Creating True Abundance in Your Life

Learning how to create abundance in your life is about much more than gathering financial abundance.

Abundance is a fundamental facet of nature too. Abundance is apparent in nature; one only needs to look at a field of flowers or wild fruit to understand how nature can be generous to the point of waste.

Many people associate the word abundance with affluence or financial prosperity but in truth experiencing abundance in your own life stretches to your experience of love and life too.

Wealth, good health, loving and passionate relationships and a strong sense of self will resonate from a person who truly experiences abundance. Living your life to the fullest means experiencing an abundance. Anyone who is not overly controlled by their own limits can experience abundance. So what kinds of things hold us back from experiencing abundance in our own lives?

Society: society can sabotage our attempts to live life to the fullest.

Our own fears of experiencing abundance: perhaps on some level you don't feel you are worthy of success? Are you sabotaging your own chances of a happy life?

Held back by daily stresses. It's the chronic 'hurry syndrome' of our generation. We constantly rush to get things done with contribute little to out master plan.

Self-empowerment courses are easy to find and many authors who experience abundance in their own lives have many great techniques for easing the flow of abundance in your own life.

Most people wish to live more abundantly (not only financially).

Your internal dialogue directly influences how you experience prosperity. At various times in your life, you are controlled by different aspects of your personality. Allowing the 'dreamer' to take center stage will benefit your life tremendously. After all acknowledging and striving for your dreams are fundamental parts of life.

Creating some kind of balance will also encourage the flow of prosperity in your life. After all, karmic principles have an undeniable ring of truth. These principles are echoed in Western religions too. Christians preach the principle of doing unto others and this is a lovely concept to live by. Why not try doing unto yourself as you wish others would? By loving and respecting yourself you open the channels for abundance to flow freely. Those who do good can only attract good.

Enjoying the fullness of living means inviting joy into your life at any possible opportunity. Don't do things you don't enjoy life's too short. Have that extra glass of wine within reason or indulge in that chocolate. Savor wonderful experiences, textures, sights, sounds. Engage your senses on a daily basis.

Are you really, truly living the life you want to live? Claim your life of abundance today you DO deserve it
